Group 1 -
Children’s Ministry - Provides ministries for children that show them the love of God through Sunday School, seasonal events and more.
College Ministry - Meets to pack care packages and write personal notes for Union College-aged students.
Congregational Care - Offers love and support to people and their families in their time of need, along with providing compassion-filled care and comfort through various stages of life.
Contemporary Worship - Strives to bring a deep and meaningful experience to worship by helping to oversee and coordinate details of worship in addition to adding creativity and insight to seasonal services and helping to prepare the sanctuary for different events.
Day School - Supports the Day School, teachers, and staff through appreciation recognitions and hands-on volunteers.
Endowment - Works to preserve and grow the endowment fund through appropriate investment strategies.
Group 2 -
Engage/Welcome Team - Strives to ensure a welcoming and loving atmosphere to visitors and members at all regular and special services at our church, and provides welcoming support at numerous church and community events.
Family/Adult Ministry - Help with planning and carrying out service, fellowship and growth opportunities focusing on adults and family interests.
Finance - Manages the financial affairs of the church: investment decisions, budget approval and monitoring, approval of fund raising requests, etc.
Kitchen - Oversees and maintains of the kitchens at Union.
Missions/Outreach - Provides support to local, state, and international missions through financial contributions and volunteering for mission service.
Group 3 -
Music/Arts - Choirs (Adult, Youth and Children), Handbells, and Liturgical Dance
Nursery - Working to support and equip our new parents and littlest members of the church, as well as support our paid nursery staff.
Office Volunteer - The main responsibilities are answering the phone, greeting people as they arrive, and helping staff with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
PEP! (Older Adult Events) - Is People Enjoying People, Ages 50+, that create Events and Excursions for Union members and their friends to enjoy!
Recreation Ministries - Meets bi-monthly to plan and execute leisure and recreation activities for the Union family and surrounding community.
Safety & Security - Strives to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for all activities at Union.
Group 4 -
Stewardship - Promotes faithful management of ablities, time, and resources. Conducts the annual stewardship (giving) campaign.
Traditional Worship - Provides worship opportunities for the congregation to participate in various areas of the service, such as crucifer, acolyte, communion assistant and others. Prepares the Sanctuary for special events and holidays.
Trustees - Oversee, maintain, and supervise all local church property and are responisble for all use of the church buildings and grounds, in conjunction with the pastor.
Youth Ministry - Is a ministry of belonging that, through a team of incredible leaders, challenges students to grow as disciples of Jesus while eating all the food and playing super intense games of 9 square and other fun.
